And the internet was installed at my new house today! So this is looking super-cool.

A new newt arrived for me today as well, this little chappy needed rehoming and suddenly turned up on my doorstep. In a box of course. He's miniature compared to Braeburn and Smith, and in keeping with the "apple" theme, he's now called Malus. As previously mentioned, I thought I'd newt-proofed the tank thoroughly, but as is usually the case, a new newt - a new hide away. Straight into the fountain, straight through a TINY gap. I'll fish him out on Sunday, and secure it for next time.

Nipped round to see my mum today too. All the time I've lived in my village, I've never actually cycled there - so I did, for the hellayit. Had a nice natter, she mutilated another foodstuff - "Hole Strain Mouse Turd". Whole Grain Mustard of course.

Nearly forgot to put my shoes upon leaving, much to Mum's amusement. Mind you, she says it's not as bad as picking my brother up from school, having forgotten to take off her pink fluffy slippers. "A case of, do you go back, do you leave em on?!" She took em off and carried them...

Quote for today: "It takes a lot of time, effort and money to look this mediocre!" - Mum.
